Bob Willard, Sustainability Expert

Bob is a leading expert on quantifying and selling the business value of corporate sustainability strategies and has given over 1,300 presentations to corporate, government, university, and NGO audiences. Bob applies his business and leadership experience from his 34-year career at IBM Canada to engage the business community in proactively avoiding risks and capturing opportunities by using smart environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.

He has authored six books: The Sustainability Advantage (2002), The Next Sustainability Wave (2005), The Sustainability Champion’s Guidebook (2009), The New Sustainability Advantage (2012), Future-Fit Business Benchmark (co-authored Release 1, 2016), and the free, open-source Sustainability ROI Workbook (2017). Bob serves on the board of the Future-Fit Foundation and the B Corp Standards Advisory Council.

Paul Rak, president & owner of VeriForm Inc.

VeriForm Inc. is a metal fabrication company in Cambridge, Ontario, and a member of the Regional Sustainability Initiative in Waterloo Region. He has spoken at over 80 events and conferences since 2006 on topics pertaining to sustainability for businesses and the many benefits of going green. He established VeriForm more than 22 years ago and has created additional ventures in the metal fabrication industry including a laser cutting company and a new division within VeriForm, VeriCut, which builds downdraft steel cutting tables for large equipment manufacturers such as ship builders, nuclear laser waste disposal systems used in the Chernobyl cleanup and more.
